WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
There will be over 20,000 participants at the event. Due to the large crowds and the race course, the Miami Police Department will close the roads that make up the race route beginning at 5:00 AM Saturday morning. Expect delays and detours and plan to arrive early.
NO HANDBAGS OR BOOKBAGS WILL BE ALLOWED AT THE RACE. PLEASE LEAVE THESE ITEMS IN YOUR VEHICLE OR AT HOME.
Due to road closures, detours, the expected crowd of 20,000, please allow extra time when driving.

Enter Biscayne going South and then turn left down on 5th Street. Entrance will be on right hand side next to Port of Miami.
On October 17th the fee will be $3 to park as long as you enter before 8am.

Take Mover from College/Bayside Station to Bayfront Park Station or walk 3 blocks east to Biscayne Blvd, then 3 blocks south to Bayfront Park

TAKING TRANSIT TO BAYFRONT PARK
You will need an EASY Card or EASY Ticket to ride on Metrorail and a Metrorail parking pass if you are parking your vehicle at a Metrorail station. There are two options for purchasing your transit fare:
Option # 1 – Purchase through the Susan G. Komen Foundation when you register for the race - Contact Michael Conner at email@example.com
An EASY Tickets loaded with a round-trip is available for the special price of $4.50 (while supplies last) when you register. It can be picked up or mailed as part of your Race Packet. This EASY Ticket is non-refundable and only good for use on October 17, 2015.
If you are parking at a Metrorail station, you can also purchase a parking pass for the special price of $4.50 (while supplies last) when you register. It can be picked up or mailed as part of your Race Packet. This Metrorail Parking Pass is non-refundable and only good for use on October 17, 2015.
Option # 2 – Purchase your transit fare on your own
In order to avoid long lines and crowds, MDT encourages those traveling on Metrorail to purchase an EASY Card or EASY Ticket and load it with $4.50 (the price of a round-trip on Metrorail) a day or so before the event on Saturday.

Parking is also available at various Metrorail stations for $4.50 a day, including weekends and holidays, and can be purchased at the Ticket Vending Machines located at all Metrorail stations. Please remember tohold onto your tickets to enter and exhit metrorail faregates.

To get to Bayfront Park, ride Metrorail to the Government Center Station, then transfer to Metromover’s Inner Loop. Exit at the Bayfront Park Metromover station.
